Measure Your Pet

The two measurements needed are:

The back, from base of neck to base of tail. Round back measurements up to the nearest inch.

The chest, around the body just behind the front legs. Round chest measurements down to the nearest inch.

There are two strips of Velcro on each side of the carrier to hold the pet safely. They adjust easily to the size of the pet's girth. For Dachshunds and other long bodied pets, there are three strips of Velcro on each side. The critical measurement needed to get the correct fit is the number of inches along the back of your pet from where the neck ends and the tail starts. The top of the carrier should be approximately 1/2 inch below the front legs.

This carrier has been vet approved! It is very easy to put on and your pet will stay comfortable for hours at a time.
